Welcome to the Clinch County Middle School website – where Panther Pride continues! CCMS is a middle school for grades 5-7 located in Homerville, Georgia and is part of the Clinch County School System. We’re proud of our close-knit community and our beautiful surroundings in the swamp lands of southeastern Georgia. Just visit our campus, and you’ll be caught up in our enthusiasm for our students’ accomplishments in everything they do.
We believe the words of Winston Churchill: “Responsibility is the price of greatness.” We hold our students accountable for their choices, and we expect greatness from them. Please browse our website to learn more about what makes Clinch County Middle School a great place to learn every day.Dear Students and Parents,
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Clinch County Middle School. Summer is over, a new season is on the horizon, and we can’t wait to get our heads back into the game!
We believe that we are entering into a school year that will be filled with hope, excitement, and endless possibilities for growth and achievement. It takes passion, grit, and stamina to win championships, and we believe that the 2019-2020 CCMS team has what it takes!
As we prepared for the students to enter our locker rooms, the CCMS faculty and staff have made a commitment to be “focused on gratitude and appreciation for the chance to compete, to play a game we love, and the opportunity to get better” (John Gordon). We, as a team, believe that we have a chance to chase greatness, a chance to honor the traditions of Clinch County, and a chance to leave lasting paw-prints of lifelong learning in our community.
Welcome to the team!

Our School
The recipe for success at CCMS is high expectations both academically and personally, a technology-rich environment, caring and compassionate mentors, involved parents, and extracurricular programs. We do our best every day to instill the core values of personal responsibility. Our students know that though we provide the vehicle to run the race, their success depends on themselves and their willingness to do their best – and to keep going at all times.
