   WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

A look at where former Panthers are playing football...

Jonathan Smith  (CCHS '00)

After spending his first two pro years with the Bills, Smith, a receiver/punt returner, played for New England last year.  He is back in training camp with the Bills.  After graduating from CCHS, "Fred" was a record-setting receiver at Georgia Tech.

Boris Lee  (CCHS '04)

After "grayshirting" one season, Lee burst on the scene last year, starting at linebacker for the Trojans as a freshman.  The 6-2, 210-pounder is now considered on e of the rising stars in the Sun Belt Conference.

Check out this nice article in the Dothan Eagle about Boris.

Lorenzo Kelsaw   (CCHS '04)

Kelsaw, an All-State running back as a Panther, played for two years at Mesabi Range (Minnesota) Community College, before transferring to Statesboro, where he is a walk-on running back.

B.J. Richardson   (CCHS '04)

Richardson also took the Mesabi Range route, and signed with Albany State after a great career with the Norse.  He is competing for playing time as a safety with the Rams.

Jonovan Williams   (CCHS '05)

Jonovan followed his brother to Mesabi Range, where he is a sophomore starting as linebacker for the Norse this season.

Eugene Kinlaw   (CCHS '07)

After signing with Troy, the big defensive lineman signed with Hutchinson Community College in Kansas for academic reasons.

Dexter Reeves  (CCHS '07) and Brad Engram  (CCHS '07)

Reeves, a running back, and Engram, a defensive back both signed with Reedley Junior College in California, located near Fresno.

Don Cobb  (CCHS '07) and Shane Burns  (CCHS '07)

The Clinch-Mesabi Range connection continues, with defensive back Cobb and quarterback Shane Burns heading north.

Justin Beard  (CCHS '07)

Beard, a safety for the Panthers last year, signed with the Rams at Albany State and is competing for playing time along with former Panther B.J. Richardson.
